Shray Rai Tiwari Biography

Shray Rai Tiwari is an Indian actor and model from Rajasthan. He has appeared in TV ads of regional and leading brands such as Tuborg Zero, Yepme, Lipton, Konyak tea, UTV Bloomberg, Cafe Coffee day, 7up, Yamaha Ray, Kalyan sarees etc. He has also appeared in a couple of films – Shab in 2015 and Kuch Bheege Alfaaz in 2018. Both these movies went unnoticed. He played parallel lead aside Geetanjali Thapa and Zain Khan Durrani in Kuch Bheege Alfaaz. It is a Hindi language romantic drama film directed by Onir.

Shray Rai Tiwari was born on 26 November 1989. He hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He completed his graduation from Rajasthan University. He started his modelling journey and has done many TV and print ads. He also won a reality show in 2012 which helped him to come to limelight. He played a Delhi brat called Nishant, in Shab who is very easy-going and carefree. The movie marked his big screen debut. He attended the audition thrice before grabbing the role. In 2018 he marked his debut in web series through 13 Mussoorie, where he portrayed Ali on screen.

Before his big screen debut he was seen in a video by the office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), promoting ‘free and equal’ campaign for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. The video received a massive response from public and also 1.8 million hits in YouTube within a few days of release. He feels that love has no gender and he was extremely happy to become a part of this campaign. The video also featured Bollywood actress Celine Jaitley.
