Varun Manian Biography 
Varun Manian is an entrepreneur from Tamil Nadu associated with property development, who has produced a few Tamil movies as well. He is associated with real estate business. Though born in Mumbai he has moved to Chennai and currently works there. Manian established Radiance Media Group, a film production company in 2013. Malayalam-Tamil Bilingual movie - Samassaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram (Tamil version - “Vaayai Moodi Pesavum” - 2014) was the first movie released under this production company which was declared a sleeper hit. The movie was directed by Balaji Mohan, and starred Dulquer Salman (debut Tamil movie) and Nazriya Nazim. The production company has announced their new project - “Kaaviya Thalaivan,” a fictional Tamil historic film directed by Vasanthabalan and music composed by A. R. Rahman.
He was born in Mumbai and later moved to Chennai where he schooled at Adyar. He lived at Alwarpet. He has one younger sister. Since childhood he was inspired by his dad and he had pre-decided that he would go abroad, study business and enter into family business. He took Bachelor’s degree in business from New York University in US in 2004. Then he joined the family's construction business, NAPC Construction Ltd, where he worked for 8 years. He reached till the position of Vice Chairman. However in 2012, the company was sold and Manian entered into residential real estate business. He is the founder director of Radiance Realty Developers India Limited, a property development firm based on Chennai which concentrates on luxury residential projects.
As he always believed that the fundamentals of any business are the same, he decided to enter film production. Already he had many friends in this field. In 2013, Manian entered film production field by establishing Radiance Media Group. Samassaram Aarogyathinu Haanikaram is the first movie produced under this banner.
