Aditya Agarwal Biography 
Aditya Agarwal is an IT professional, software engineer and entrepreneur who has worked with Facebook, Cove, and Dropbox. He along with his wife Ruchi Sangvi worked with Facebook since its formative years in mid-2000s, and his wife was the first female s/w engineer to be hired by Fb. In fact they joined Fb together and got married in 2010 while working there. After leaving Facebook in 2011, Agarwal and his wife Ruchi Sanghvi, co-founded Cove. The following year the company was bought by Dropbox and the couple joined the company. However they left the group in 2013 and started South Park Commons in 2016. Thus they together worked with Facebook, Cove, and Dropbox.
Aditya Agarwal was born in India and educated abroad. His father was a chemical engineer. After staying in different countries, his family finally settled in US. Since young he was interested in computers, and while at Indonesia, took classes in programming. Later he pursued Computer science at Carnegie Mellon University. He met his future wife, Ruchi Sanghvi during his academic years at CMU where she was a fellow student. They dated for many years and also worked in many companies together including Facebook before they finally tied knot in 2010.
After graduation he worked at Oracle Inc in the San Francisco Bay Area. By that time Ruchi too moved to Silicon Valley after studies and took job at Oracle. In fact they joined Facebook together in 2005, where they worked together till 2011 before they started their professional career as entrepreneurs. They co-founded Cove, a stealth collaboration startup, which was later acquired by Dropbox. The couple joined Dropbox and worked there for a while before they moved on.
