Vedita Pratap Singh Biography 
Vedita Pratap Singh is an Indian model who also works in Bollywood movies. She is a winner of MTV Model Hunt & Channel V's show, India's Hottest 2008-09. She made her debut film Bhindi Baazaar Inc aside Kay Kay Menon and Piyush Mishra and caught noticed for her sensuous role. Her role as Shabana in the movie received critics’ appreciation as well. Currently she is shooting for her next Bollywood project directed by Hemant Madhukar.
She was born in Allahabad, UP on 9th October 1987 and brought up in Lucknow. She belongs to the Royal family of Chauhans of Dallipur Estate in Pratapgarh. Her mother belongs to the royal family of DevVermans in Agartala (Tripura). She studied at Christchurch School in Lucknow and Mayo College in Ajmer and later also took graduation from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai. Vedita didn’t even imagine that she will enter the entertainment world and cinema. She started modelling during her college days and won the intercollegiate beauty competition in St. Xavier’s. It was the real beginning to her modelling career. She also had some theatre experience with Kader Khan, veteran actor and scriptwriter of Bollywood.
Later she appeared in television ads and a few beauty pageants and she gained popularity soon after her win at Channel V’s India’s hottest in the year 2009. She played pivotal role in critically acclaimed film, Bhindi Baazaar Inc and it proved her big break to Bollywood. She received ‘Young achievers award’ from Subhash Ghai’s acting institute ‘Whistling Woods Internation’ for creating her own identity in modelling industry and for being a great inspiration to youngsters of Lucknow as a model. Gumm at Mumbai 125 km is her upcoming flick.
