Vinu Mohan Biography

Vinu Mohan is an Indian actor. He concentrates in Malayalam film industry. A. K. Lohithadas picked him up to act in his movie. He is the grandson of the actor Kottarakkara Sreedharan Nair. His mother is actress Sobha Mohan and his father is Mohan. The popular actor Sai Kumar is his uncle. He entered film industry in the year 2007.

His debut movie was Nivedyam by A. K. Lohithadas. He acted in the role of Mohan Krishnan in that film. This was released in the year 2007. He won Asianet Best New Face Award for the film Nivedyam in 2007.

He acted in the lead role in the film Cycle in which his uncle Sai Kumar acted as the villain. He acted as the son of a taxi driver who feels bitter about life as his aspiration of becoming a bowler in the cricket team could not be fulfilled as he was not given an entry in the Ranji team of the state. He got a chance to act with Mammootty in the film Chattambinadu. He played the role of Murugan in this film and this was released in the year 2009. This was a big commercial success.

He acted along with Manoj K. Jayan in the film Khilafath in the character of Katharunni co-starring Bhama. His charming face won him many fans in film industry.

The films that he acted in the year 2008 are Sulthan and Cycle. His releases in 2009 were Dalamarmarangal, Chattambinadu, Colours, Khilafath, Keralotsavam 2009.  In 2010 he acted in movies like Inganeyum Oral, Kootukar and Holidays. Nadakame Ulakam, Ee Thirakkinidayil, Ponnukondoru Aalroopam and Bombay Mittai were released in 2011.
