Amyra Dastur is a successful Indian model who has most recently entered Bollywood. Her debut movie was released on last week of July (July 26, 2013) – Ishaq where she was paired opposite Prateik Babbar, son of Raj Babbar – Smita Patel couple. Before entering movies, she has worked for a few successful ad campaigns of which commercials of Clean & Clear face wash, Dove (toiletries) cream, Vodafone mobile connection and Micromax mobile are most popular. In the movie Ishaq also, she appears as a beautiful face in nice kurthis as a simple traditional girl.

Amrya Dastur was born on 7^th May, 1993 in Mumbai. Her birth name is Amy Rohinton Dastur and was born in a Parsi family. She entered modeling industry and became successful as well.  She started modelling at the age of 16 and always desired to become an actress. It provided her easy step to Bollywood. She played the leading role in her debut movie Ishaq – an intense romantic film and the couple looks extremely well in film trailers too. Yet she confesses that she is not at all a romantic person and hates flowers and candles most. According to her, a great date will be going on jet skiing or other adventure sport. She is not at all serious in any relationship at present, yet won’t mind being with someone to just have fun.

At present Amrya Dastur is studying B.Com in a Mumbai’s HR College. When she got opportunity to work in films the only condition put forward by her parents was to never leave studies. Now she wants to become a successful actress as well as a successful model and dreams to work with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Now she is serious with movies and has started reading scripts. She believes in her talent and hard work than god fathers to promote her career and work.  

Ishaq was directed by Manish Tiwary and it’s loosely based on the tragic love story of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Though the movie got bad reviews from critics, her work and appearance was appreciated. She played the role of Bachchi Kashyap in this movie.
