Madhuri Bhattacharya Biography
Madhuri Bhattacharya is an Indian model and actress who predominantly works in Bollywood and Kannada cinema. She was seen in the item song, Tinku jiya of 2011 hit movie, Yamla Pagla Deewana aside Dharmendra and Bobby Deol. Bachelor Party, 3 Nights 4 Days and Prem Kaa Game are her other Bollywood releases. She was casted opposite Arbaaz khan in 2010 Bollywood romantic comedy film, Prem Kaa Game. It was rumored that she had a brief romance with the lead actor. Salman khan was the narrator of the movie. She has also appeared in a Punjabi and a couple of Kannada films.
Madhuri Bhattacharya was born in a Bengali family in Bangalore. Later she shifted to Mumbai. She schooled at the Army Public School. She was a book worm and studied psychology at Mount Carmel College and then law at Ramaiah College. On insistence by a friend she went on to participate in May Queen Contest at the Catholic Club and later won Miss Bangalore and finally the Camay Mega Model contest held in Mumbai. Very soon she became the face of many leading ads of south.
Kannada films such as “Khushi” and “Bisi Bisi” are her first acting appearances. She was also featured in Sonu Nigam’s music video, “Neene Bari Neene”. She also appeared in the serial, “Kuch Love, Kuch Masti” on Sahara One. “Prem Kaa Game” was her first Bollywood flick and very soon she was signed for Arbaaz Khan’s next film “Bachelor’s Party”. In 2012 Telugu movie Prasad was released, where she was paired with Arjun Sarja. The film was screened at the Berlin Film Festival.
