Vikram Prabhu Biography
Vikram Prabhu is an Indian film actor who is acting in Tamil films. Being the grandson of the veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan and the son of the popular actor Prabhu Ganesan, he entered the film industry with a star value.
Vikram Prabhu was born on 1st January 1987 at Chennai in Tamil Nadu. His father is the actor Prabhu Ganesan and his mother’s name is Punitha Prabhu. He married the daughter of the industrialist M. S. Madhivanan named Lakshmi Ujjaini.
He was very interested to pursue his career in film industry. So after completing his MBA degree at London, he came to Chennai to take part in the works of the family production house Sivaji Productions. It was at that time that the film Chandramukhi was produced. Then he went to get a degree at San Diego State University at US.
He worked with Vishnuvardhan during the production of the film Sarvam to get some experience. When there was an issue with the makers of the film Deiva Thirumagal in 2011, he was covered in media and came to limelight.
He was starred in the film Kumki by Prabhu Solomon. The film was based on elephant and so he undertook training at an elephant campt in Otthapalayam in Kerala to get some knowledge of getting along with the elephants.
He started to perform in the remake film produced by actor Vijay titled Sattam Oru Iruttarai of the year 1981 and he plays the lead role in that film which was done by Vijayakanth in the original film. He is to appear in few more films like Ivan Veramathiri and Kovaththai Alli Konjugiren.
